About
THE NOISE SHACK
The Noise Shack is the integrated phonographic production and music publishing structure of THE DZ FACTORY. It brings together artist development, production, marketing and the management of phonographic, publishing and synchronisation rights, with the aim of building an original rock catalogue. The Noise Shack handles the marketing and digital distribution of the catalogue's music productions on streaming platforms, in order to reach the widest possible audience.

Why The Noise Shack? Because I am, above all, a passionate fan of alternative rock and a fervent defender of independence. At a time when streaming has reduced music to a mere commodity, I firmly believe in another path: bringing together super-fans, those people who still marvel — and will always marvel — at holding a vinyl record or a CD in their hands, putting on a t-shirt or hoodie bearing the image of their favourite artist, or eagerly waiting to find themselves in a concert hall or at a festival to share a common passion with the crowd. The Noise Shack, that is that conviction.
I bring this commitment after more than 30 years spent at strategic and operational levels within the biggest majors in the music industry. I had the chance to start as a product manager at BMG France, before taking on marketing responsibility at EMI France, then becoming Marketing Director and International Director at Warner Music France. I then led marketing for continental Europe at Capitol Records/EMI Music Europe, in London, where I designed and ran campaigns for artists such as Whitney Houston, Madonna, Prince, R.E.M., Eric Clapton, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phil Collins, Tina Turner, Neil Young, Alanis Morissette, Lou Reed, Green Day, Randy Newman and Bonnie Raitt.
In 1999, I made a choice that changed everything: becoming an independent artist manager. That same year, I founded the Music Manager Forum France, then in 2000 the International Music Manager Forum (IMMF), where I later served as treasurer and Europe officer from 2013 to 2015. Between 2014 and 2023, I founded and chaired the Alliance des Managers d'Artistes (AMA France), while also taking part, from 2015 onward, in working groups of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Education and Culture, before carrying out an expert mission for the DG EAC in 2018.
It was in 2012 that I founded The DZ Factory Ltd in London, before relocating it to Paris in 2021 as The DZ Factory Sasu. In the meantime, I also taught: as a lecturer at the Burgundy School of Business's MECIC programme from 2017, at the École Art et Culture from 2018 to 2022, as a part-time lecturer at Sciences Po Paris in 2021-2022, as a marketing professor in the M2 programme at Icart in 2022, and as a regular speaker since 2017 at events such as Midem, MaMA, Medimex, Coliseum, GMA, Mu:Con, the International Showcase Festival, Canadian Music Week and MIL.
And then, in 2023, this whole journey reached its natural culmination: the creation of the label The Noise Shack, a CNM member, and Éditions The DZ Factory, a SACEM member.
Holder of an Executive MBA from HEC and a DESS/M2 in Marketing, trilingual in French, English and German — but above all, a lifelong fan, one of those who still buy vinyl and can't wait for the next concert. The Noise Shack, that is that conviction put to work for artists I believe in.
